Students in Chilé safe
Harding University students arrived in Viña del Mar, Chilé, this week
for their semester abroad after the devastating earthquake on Feb. 27
delayed their trip.
Another earthquake struck an area about 70 miles south of the Harding
campus on Thursday, March 11. Program Director Tom Hook reports that
the campus in Viña del Mar is secure and was not impacted by that
earthquake.
Students and faculty are safe and currently en route to Patagonia in
extreme Southern Chilé, far away from the area affected by today’s
earthquake.
