Chorus to hold concert April 23

The Harding University Chorus will perform their annual spring
concert April 23 at 11 a.m. in the Administration Auditorium on
campus.

The program includes “Saints Bound for Heaven,” a folk hymn arranged
by Shaw and Parker; “Abide With Me”,” arranged by Moses Hogan; “All
Rise,” by Babbie Mason and arranged by Dave Williamson; and “Signs of
the Judgment,” a spiritual arranged by Butler. The program also
includes, “All My Heart This Night Rejoices,” by Z. Randall Stroope;
“Cantate Domino” by Claudio Monteverdi, “Hallelujah Chorus” by Handel;
“Hail, Gladdening Light,” by Charles Wood; “A Boy and a Girl,” by Eric
Whitacre; and “Naiman Sharag,” a Mongolian piece arranged by Se
Enkhbayar.

In addition, the chorus will perform parts from “Vier
geistliche Gesäng,” by Wolfram Buchenberg, including “Ich bin das Brot
des Leben” and “Erbarme dich unser.”
