Professor recognized with lifetime achievement award
Dr. Lew Moore, chair of the marriage and family therapy department and director of the counseling center at Harding University, was given the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Louisiana Association for Marriage and Family Therapy in March.
Moore was also a featured speaker at the conference in Baton Rouge, La.
The award is given each year to an individual who has contributed significantly to the advancement of the field of marriage and family therapy and who has also achieved outstanding recognition both nationally and internationally.
Moore has twice been invited to speak at the International Convention for Marriage and Family Therapy in Arezzo and in Chianciano, Italy. He will be awarded a 40-year service pin at Harding’s annual spring faculty and staff dinner in April.
