Steve Forbes to wrap up ASI lecture series April 7
The 2010-11 American Studies Institute Distinguished LectureSeries will conclude at Harding University Thursday, April 7,
at 7:30 p.m. in Benson Auditorium with Steve Forbes. He will discuss
“Is the American Nation in Decline? Why the 2012 Election is so
Important.”
Forbes is chairman and CEO of Forbes Media and editor-in-chief of
Forbes magazine. Under his leadership, Forbes Media has launched a
variety of new publications and businesses with licensee editions
published worldwide reaching more than six million readers. In 1996
Forbes entered the new media arena with the launch of Forbes.com,
which now averages 18 million unique monthly visitors. The company’s
flagship publication, Forbes, is the nation’s leading business
magazine with a circulation of more than 900,000.
Forbes is the author of numerous books including “Flat Tax Revolution:
Using a Postcard to Abolish the IRS” and “A New Birth of Freedom.” He
was appointed chairman of the bipartisan Board for International
Broadcasting by presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, serving
until 1993.
