National Leadership Forum set for June 5-10 on campus
Approximately 300 delegates from around the south will gather for the
55th Annual National Leadership Forum at Harding University June 5-10.
The program, designed for students in grades 9-12, develops leaders
and better acquaints youth with the American scene, motivating them to
an expression of pride in our nation’s traditions and ideals. Each
delegate must demonstrate excellent character and leadership ability.
The event is co-sponsored by Arkansas and Tennessee Farm Bureaus,
Civitan and other civic clubs, and Harding’s American Studies
Institute.
Through labs, lectures, films and discussion, participating students
will become more prepared, confident and equipped with the necessary
tools to preserve the traditions and ideals upon which America was
founded. Speakers will present a wide variety of lectures in the
American Heritage Auditorium on campus, allowing for
question-and-answer periods and follow-up labs. Scheduled
