The Harding University College of Pharmacy will welcome 25 students to
its third annual pharmacy summer camp June 19-24 on campus. Students
are attending from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri,
Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas.

The camp provides an opportunity for high school juniors and seniors
to explore the pharmacy profession through classes, hands-on learning
experiences and other activities.

Activities include pharmaceutical laboratory experiences, group health
and wellness projects, games and recreation, professional shadowing,
and an introduction by Harding pharmacy faculty to curriculum and
current topics in the field. Some of the camp class topics include
preparing to become a pharmacy technician, diabetes prevention and
treatment, CSI: forensic fingerprinting, and others.
