Harding hosts Needtobreathe and Ben Rector 2012 tour

SEARCY, Ark. — Needtobreathe featuring Ben Rector will bring their Reckoning tour to Searcy, Ark., at Harding University’s Benson Auditorium Feb. 21, 2012. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the concert starts at 8 p.m. Tickets prices range from $15-$25 and are currently on sale at www.hardingcabtickets.com.

Needtobreathe, an American Rock band from South Carolina, is made of two brothers and friends. They released their first album in 2006 and have since released three more. They can be heard on both mainstream and Christian media as they were first signed with mainstream Atlantic/Lava and later with Sparrow, a Christian label. In 2011, the band opened for Taylor Swift on her Speak Now Tour. They have also appeared on “The Late Show with David Letterman” and “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.”

The band’s Reckoning 2012 Tour features Ben Rector, an independent artist from Tulsa, Okla. Rector has toured with many musicians including Dave Barnes, Five for Fighting and Drew Holcomb. His growth peaked in the release of “Something Like This” on Sept. 13, 2011. The record was the No. 1 Singer Songwriter album five minutes after its official release, climbing to the No. 4 spot on iTunes overall album charts. Needtobreathe and Ben Rector will headline 44 shows across the U.S. and Canada in The Reckoning 2012 tour.
