Lecture series continues with iconic political strategist

Karl RovePolitical strategist Karl Rove continues the 2012-13 American Studies Institute Distinguished Lecture Series Oct. 16 at 7 p.m. in Benson Auditorium.

Rove was the mastermind behind former President George W. Bush’s successful 2000 and 2004 campaigns and served as the president’s senior adviser from 2000 07 and as deputy chief of staff from 2004-07. He is the author of the best-selling book “Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight,” and he writes a weekly op-ed for the Wall Street Journal.

Additionally, Rove appears as a contributor on Fox News, and his columns have appeared in The Daily Beast, Financial Times, Forbes, The Times, Washington Post and The Weekly Standard.
