Matt Milligan named Harding Alumni Network president
Matt Milligan of Thompson’s Station, Tenn., was recently named president of the Harding University Alumni Network.
To promote connection and involvement among alumni, Milligan will work with the University's Office of Alumni Relations as a volunteer. His first event as president will be the University’s annual Homecoming Black and Gold Banquet next fall.
Milligan currently practices as a private attorney and teaches as an adjunct professor at Columbia State University. He has researched and authored appellate briefs, tried both civil and criminal cases, and worked as a contract public defender in underprivileged Tennessee counties. He teaches constitutional law, evidence and criminal procedure courses at CSU.
A 2001 graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, and Milligan holds a Juris Doctorate from University of Arkansas School of Law. He served as the Harding student body president and president of the Christian Law Society at University of Arkansas.
