Chorus to perform Carmina Burana

The Harding University Chorus will be joined by members of the University's music faculty and student percussionists to present Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana Thursday, April 11 at 7 p.m. in the Administration Auditorium. Admission is free.

The Chorus is directed by Dr. Cliff Ganus, professor of music. Dr. Scott Carrell, associate professor of music, and Lis Jones, assistant professor of music, will each play piano, and six percussion students will assist.  Members of the Chorus will be soloists in various movements.

“Of all of the works which I have sung and prepared for chorus and instruments, Carmina Burana is the most entertaining to sing and hear,” Ganus said.
