We are currently seeking highly qualified individuals for the following faculty positions with the College of Pharmacy. These positions are available immediately.  Innovative individuals with a commitment to Christian education, preferably active members of the church of Christ, are encouraged to apply:

Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences.  Assistant/Associate Professor, Biomedical Sciences.  This is a 12-month faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The primary responsibilities for this position are coordinating and teaching the pathophysiology, immunology, and medical microbiology portions of a Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum. Engagement of students in research and the establishment of an active research program will be supported.  Qualified applicants will possess a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in microbiology, immunology, or in a related biomedical field.  Preference will be given to applicants with postdoctoral experience as well as to those with two or more years of academic experience.   A professional degree in pharmacy is desirable but not required.

Department of Pharmacy PracticeAssistant/Associate Professor.  This is a 0.4 FTE faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor.  Responsibilities include creating, coordinating and delivering instruction in the pathophysiology, pharmacotherapy, and patient-centered care didactic curriculum; developing and maintaining innovative clinical practice sites; conducting scholarly activity in an area of expertise; and engaging in service to the college, and community. The College is partnering with local hospitals, clinics, and community pharmacies to establish clinical practice opportunities.  Applicants from all clinical backgrounds will be considered.  Candidates with expertise in adult internal medicine, ambulatory care, cardiology, or hematology/oncology are encouraged to apply.  Qualified applicants will possess a Pharm.D. as well as residency/fellowship training.  At least two years of academic experience is preferred.  Eligibility for pharmacy licensure in Arkansas is required.
