College of Pharmacy Positions
We are currently seeking highly qualified individuals for the following faculty positions with the College of Pharmacy. These positions are available immediately. Innovative individuals with administrative experience and a commitment to Christian education are encouraged to apply:
Pharmaceutical Sciences. A position in pharmacology is currently available. Responsibilities include coordinating and teaching the pharmacology portion of the curriculum including related laboratory components; engaging students in research; and establishing an active research program. Qualified applicants will possess a Ph.D. degree in pharmacology or an allied field. Postdoctoral experience, at least two years of academic experience, and a professional degree in pharmacy are preferred.
Pharmacy Practice. Several positions are available. Responsibilities include creating, coordinating and delivering instruction in the pathophysiology, pharmacotherapy, and patient-centered care didactic curriculum; developing and maintaining innovative clinical practice sites; conducting scholarly activity in an area of expertise; and engaging in service to the college, and community. The College is partnering with local hospitals, clinics, and community pharmacies to establish clinical practice opportunities. Applicants from all clinical backgrounds will be considered. Candidates with expertise in adult internal medicine, community practice, ambulatory care, cardiology, hematology/oncology, or psychiatric practice are encouraged to apply. Qualified applicants will possess a Pharm.D. as well as residency/fellowship training. At least two years of academic experience is preferred. Eligibility for pharmacy licensure in Arkansas is required.
