SA Election Information
The SA officers — president, vice president, secretary and treasurer – and a male and female representative for the sophomore, junior and senior classes are elected in the spring semester for the following year. Dorm representatives and freshman class representatives are elected in the fall semester of the year they serve.
Below are the deadlines for the SA elections during the 2011-2012 school.
Fall semester (Freshman representatives and dorm representatives)
Wednesday, Aug. 31 — Intent to File forms due to the SA office by 5 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 2 — Petition forms due to the SA office by 4 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 4 — Campaigning may begin at 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 7 — Election Day (Students vote on Pipeline from 8 a.m. Sept. 7 to 8 a.m. Sept. 8)
Friday, Sept. 9 — Run-off election (if necessary)
Spring semester (Officers and sophomore, junior and senior representatives)
Wednesday, March 28 — Intent to File forms due to the SA office by 5 p.m.
Friday, March 30 — Petition forms due to the SA office by 4 p.m.
Sunday, April 1 — Campaigning may begin at 7 p.m.
Wednesday, April 4 — Election Day (Students vote on Pipeline from 8 a.m. April 4 to 8 a.m. April 5)
Friday, April 6 — Run-off election (if necessary)
