Professional Training
Various courses are offered to prepare lifeguards and swimming instructors. These courses are scheduled upon demand. or call 279-4756 for more information.
- Pre-Lifeguard Training- For those who need to improve their swimming skills prior to taking the Lifeguard Training course. Offered during the month of April, from 3:45-4:30 on Monday and Wednesday for boys and Tuesday and Thursday for girls.
Cost: $25.
- Lifeguard Training- May 5-16, 2009
Begins on Tuesday May 5 at 3:30 in the pool classroom. American Red Cross certification as a lifeguard. For strong swimmers 15 and older. A 20 hour course. Cost: $175. - Lifeguard Training Re-certification Courses- TBA during April. Cost: $25
