How to Register for a PRAXIS
· Go to the website www.ets.org/praxis
· Click sign in
· If you have an existing account, use your username and password to sign in. If you do not already have an account, select “create account” and follow directions on the screen.
· Once you are signed in, select “Register for a test” on the left underneath the title Registration and Orders.
· Agree to the terms and fill out the background information
· On this page, you have several options to search for tests.
o If you know your test code, enter it in the third box and search
o Or you may select either “Praxis I” or “Praxis II” on the bottom of the page
o Or select your state from the first drop down box, make a selection in the second drop down box, and search.
· From here, select your test (choose here whether it is computer or paper by selecting the appropriate test) and continue. You will not be scheduled for the exam until you actually pay for the exam.
o For Computer Tests:
§ Select Schedule Computer Tests
§ Search by zipcode or state and select test center from list
§ Select date on the left side and then available time on right
§ Confirm selected time and date
o For Paper Tests:
§ Select Schedule Paper Tests
§ If options are available, the next page will give you choices for test time. Select the time you want and continue.
§ Choose your date and continue
§ Search for test center by zip code or state and select
· Fill out the schools to which you wish to send your scores (*NOTE: just because you take the test at Harding University does not mean your test scores will automatically be sent here. Make sure to add Harding to the list of schools to send scores to)
· Pay for the exam and print your admission ticket.
**You must bring a photo ID such as a driver’s license or passport. Your name on your ID must match exactly as listed on your Praxis registration ticket. Make sure your name listed on your Praxis account matches your ID exactly.
