The Youth & Family Education Journal is an online program designed to be a resource for Christian educators around the world. The site was launched in December of 2002 and is maintained by the staff of the Youth & Family Education Lab on the campus of Harding University. Currently, this is quarterly publication. All material published on the journal will be perminently archived on the site. All articles published on this journal are selected by an editor-in-chief.

Goal

The YFE Journal is designed to expand the network of knowledge in the area of Christian education. Through this online medium; submission, publication, and feedback can all be done electronically. We hope educators and scholars throughout the world will find this site helpful in enhancing the effectivness of this important ministry.

Design

The visual elements and layout of this journal are designed to reflect a post-modern culture. The logo of two figures marked six and seven represents the overall goal of this ministry tool. Six is the biblical numeric symbol for imperfection and fallen humankind. The seven is the number for perfection. The characters represent the process of salvation active in a wave of cultural change.
