Belles & Beaux
Belles and Beaux is a 13-member vocal and instrumental band sponsored by the Department of Music at Harding University. They perform a wide variety of today's hot new songs as well as the cool hits of yesterday! This talented and diverse group performs all over the United States and accepts bookings for events such as youth conferences and banquets. Most of their repertoire is secular, but they also sing Christian a cappella songs. Members of Belles and Beaux receive scholarships.
Auditions are held on the Tuesday and Thursday of Dead Week for on campus students, and during Spring Sing weekend for incoming students. Additional information can be obtained by emailing Chuck Hicks, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Chuck Hicks is the director of Belles and Beaux.
He received his M.S.E. from Harding in 1997 and has a strong background in the field of music, particularly in performance and stringed instruments. He teaches private guitar in the Department of Music and also directs the a cappella group, The Good News Singers.
