Undergraduate Programs

In the College of Bible & Ministry, we are seeking to lead all students at Harding University to know, live and share God’s Word and to understand, love and serve God’s World.

Equip yourself with comprehensive knowledge of the Bible and specialized seminars in particular topics or texts. Learn to translate Hebrew or Greek. Deepen your theological insight and sharpen critical thinking skills. Prepare for a lifetime of fulfilling ministry with skills in preaching, teaching, counseling, and disciple-making.

Each program also provides an additional 18 hours of coursework in an area of specialization.

Majors

Bible & Family Ministry

Focus on building strong Christian families and the spiritual formation of children and teens.

Bible & Ministry

Prepare for a wide range of ministry opportunities with this very popular, flexible program.

Bible & Missions

Train with experienced missionaries in the classroom and on the mission field for sharing faith cross-culturally.

Bible & Preaching

Emphasize pulpit ministry and homiletics with additional courses in sermon preparation and a preaching internship.

Bible & Ministry/M.Div. Track

Accelerate and reduce time in school by as much as a year in obtaining two degrees: a B.A. in Bible & Ministry and the highly regarded Master of Divinity degree.

Leadership & Ministry/Theological Studies (second major only)

Prepare for vocational ministry; with three extra Bible classes and an internship, students can earn this 30-hour major (second major only); scholarships available.

This major is designed for students who desire to deepen their knowledge of God and scripture and enhance their ministry skills for service. It can be tailored to individual interests and calling.
