The Child Advocacy Center of Independence County is looking for an additional team member! Provide immediate intervention and crisis stabilization counseling services to reduce victim trauma. Provide appropriate therapeutic clinical services to victims based on a comprehensive intake assessment and develop a plan of treatment. Provide non-offending family members with support and referral information to enable the family to cope with the crisis and sensitively interact with the victim(s). Work collaboratively with the District Attorney’s office and Center staff to provide victims and their non-offending family members with court preparation services when appropriate. Develop and maintain confidential files on each client served. Data collected could include such things as demographics, ethnicity, age, and type of abuse experienced for the agency’s client population. Participate in required court proceedings including supplying documentation and testimony for the purpose of providing clinical information and observations. Education and skills required; Master’s degree and licensed in the State of Arkansas to practice therapeutic services. Must be TF-CBT certified or willing to become certified. Prior experience and/or professional certifications with victims of trauma issues surrounding abuse preferred. Good organizational and time management skills and the ability and willingness to work well with a variety of professional disciplines.
