College of Allied Health - CFIT

COLLEGE OF ALLIED HEALTH. Seeking qualified applicants for a 10-month principal faculty position for the Harding department of Cardiac Function & Interventional Technology (CFIT); rank will be commensurate with applicant experience. Responsibilities will include working with existing faculty to create an on-line professional master’s program, teaching of the program’s core on-ground, and eventual on-line curriculum, advising and mentoring students, assisting with the technology lab, helping establish and maintain clinical sites, conducting scholarly activity in the faculty's area of expertise, and engaging in service to the college, university, and community.

Qualified applicants will be expected to have 3 plus years’ experience with cardiac devices, preferably both cardiac rhythm management (CRM)  and electrophysiology (EP), possess a minimum of a master’s degree, a minimum of three years of clinical experience; prior teaching experience and IBHRE certification is preferred.

College of Arts & Sciences - Architecture

COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCES ● DEPARTMENT OF ART & DESIGN. 

Harding University is seeking candidates for a full-time architecture faculty position. Salary and rank will be determined based on credentials and experience.

An advanced degree in architecture (M.Arch or D.Arch) and a background in architectural education are preferred. Architecture faculty will assist the program director, department chair and dean in development of the accelerated M.Arch program. The preferred candidate should have experience in curriculum development, knowledge of the NAAB Conditions for Accreditation, 2020 Edition and a willingness to foster collaboration between the educational programs of related disciplines. Harding University is a faith-based institution affiliated with the churches of Christ. Candidates should exhibit a commitment to Christian higher education and a desire to contribute to the undergraduate and graduate educational mission of Harding University.


ROLES OF ARCHITECTURE FACULTY

• Teach classes, labs and studios as assigned
• Assist in the ongoing development of curriculum through the Harding academic curriculum process
• Assist with program candidacy and pursuit of full accreditation with NAAB
• Assist with program recruiting and marketing activities
• Seek out and engage additional qualified faculty
• Participate in strategic planning and effective assessment of program goals
• Execute program plans for class scheduling, student advising and retention
• Facilitate and oversee the development of various curricular/co-curricular activities
• Assist in building and managing relationships with the profession and community


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

 (M.Arch or D.Arch)
• Higher education academic experience with a NAAB accredited program
• Professional Practice Experience
• Professional licensure in the U.S. or international equivalent
• Evidence of community, professional and academic partnership experiences
• Academic administration experience
• Professional leadership experience
• Experience with NAAB accreditation process

Candidates with a Master of Fine Arts or doctorate in fine art or design-related professions are preferred. The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching undergraduate design foundations and applicants’ studio expertise, advising and mentoring students, and community engagement. Familiarity with design software and equipment such as 3D printing, laser cutting, AI, virtual reality, etc. is beneficial.

College of Pharmacy - Pharm Practice

COLLEGE OF PHARMACY ● DEPARTMENT OF PHARMACY PRACTICE. Seeking applications for a 12-month faculty position at the rank of assistant or associate professor. International Programs-Harding University in Florence

INTERNATIONAL PROGRAMS. Seeking faculty/administrator for Harding University in Florence (HUF). Responsibilities include directing the study abroad program in Italy, which includes, but is not limited to, teaching, coordinating site tours, managing accommodations, providing meals for student and faculty groups of 40+, overseeing the on-site staff and maintenance of the physical plant, and the financial management of the program. This is a full-time, twelve-month position that reports directly to the executive director of international programs. Experience in higher education administration abroad is required, teaching experience in the humanities and a master’s degree or doctorate is preferred.

College of Nursing

COLLEGE OF NURSING. Seeking part-time clinical adjunct faculty for the BSN and MEPN programs for Psychiatric, Critical Care and Medical-Surgical Nursing for spring 2024. The clinical faculty need at least two years’ experience in the area of clinical practice.

For these semester positions, the successful candidates should maintain an active, unencumbered nursing license; be eligible for RN or APRN licensing in the state of Arkansas; have earned a minimum of a master’s degree in nursing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching undergraduate and graduate nursing courses in a variety of clinical settings and laboratories, and working collaboratively in shared governance and accreditation compliance with the College of Nursing administration and faculty
