Generation HU Student Board 2016-2017
The board’s primary role is to facilitate interaction between students and alumni so that we may create lasting connections to our school for all Bisons. They help to plan and execute some of the young alumni traditions; emphasizing the establishment of connections between students, alumni, and the university. They have the opportunity to put on campus events, help networking among alumni, and create lasting relationships with some of the best Bisons!
My name is Julie Plunket. I grew up in Smyrna, Tennessee, and I am a Sophomore Nursing major with a minor in Spanish. After I graduate, I would like to work as a nurse for a few years and then go back to school to become a Nurse Anesthetist. I love Spanish and hope to become fluent so I can communicate with Hispanic patients. I love filling my extra time with friends. I am also blessed to represent the sophomore class as their Representative on the Student Association. I am chair of the Alumni Committee so Sarah and I joined forces to form the Student Association Alumni Board. I can’t wait to meet others who love Harding as much as I do!
My name is Ally Davis. I am a freshman from right here in Searcy, AR. I am studying nursing with the intent of one day being a nurse practitioner and using my degree on the mission field. I am passionate about family, laughter, board and card games, books, and adventures. I am very excited about being a part of the Graduate Relations team of Generation HU this year and hopefully meeting many of you.
My name is Payton Rilee Hardcastle, and I am an Accounting major from Hartville, Missouri. On campus, I am an active member of Ju Go Ju, a participant in the Honors College, a member in the Accounting Society, and a student tutor for the Honors House. I love to get involved on campus and build lasting relationships with my friends and peers. Looking forward, I want to become an auditor for an accounting firm where I am able to travel and work in a social, yet professional field. Overall, I am excited for my future and the plans God has laid before me!

I'm Karlee Kopp, and I'm a sophomore studying pre-pharmacy here at Harding. One day I hope to work as a psychiatric pharmacist in a hospital. I find my joy and fulfillment in life through helping, serving and giving to others, and that is why I am so blessed to be apart of Generation HU. In my free time, I love to spend time with people and animals while being out in God's beauty. My hometown is Noblesville, Indiana and as of this summer, I call Hot Springs Village, Arkansas home now. I’m looking forward to this incredible opportunity and can’t wait to meet so many wonderful people.
My name is Carter Ness and I am a junior athletic training major here at Harding University. I love learning how God created our bodies in such a way that we can heal ourselves after an injury. That is why I enjoy my sport rotations as an athletic trainer. In the future I plan on becoming a physical therapist and working with people of all ages. My second love is people; which is why I have chosen to be on the public relations committee of Generation HU. When I do not have any academic obligations I enjoy spending time with all the great friends I have here at Harding. This is my second year with Generation HU and I am looking forward to see even more great things come from this organization!
Hello there! My name is Paul Pearson and I am a junior finance major from Bentonville, AR. This is my first semester serving on the Student Alumni board, however, I'm not new to the world of general counsel. In my two years at Harding, I have served on the Bisons-4-Christ Leadership Committee, Activities Director and Vice President of my social club, and Vice President of the Harding Finance Club. This past summer, I had the opportunity to intern with U.S. Senator John Boozman where I developed a greater appreciation for the role of government in day-to-day life as well as a deeper understanding of the interworking's of legislation. I look forward to further developing the relationships Harding University has established.
Hi, my name is Maya and I’m a sophomore at Harding. I am originally from the wonderful Rocket City - Huntsville, AL. In my free time, I love to be outdoors either hiking up a mountain or paddling down a river. I’m excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to meet some amazing people.
