Every effort will be made to respond to all questions in a timely manner, either by phone/mail/fax/email, usually within 5 business days. The center is closed for national and university recognized holidays. Additionally, the center may be closed at other times without prior notice, but efforts will be made to alert callers to such closures (e.g. answering service greeting, out-of-the office email auto-reply, etc.) Please note that all requests received after-hours and on weekends or holidays will not begin to be addressed until at least the next business day. Someone from the center will notify you regarding the status of your request. Messages may be left for non-urgent questions.
If you suspect that you may have a medical condition or problem, please contact a qualified health professional immediately. If you are in the United States and are experiencing a medical emergency, please dial 911 or call for emergency medical help on the nearest telephone. Questions related to overdose or poisoning should immediately be directed to the Arkansas Poison Control Center at 800-222-1222 or the poison control center located nearest to you.
The Harding University Center for Drug and Health Information website functions as a resource for a variety of individuals ranging from consumers to students, faculty and healthcare professionals and is maintained by the faculty and staff of the Harding University College of Pharmacy.

All drug information requests are handled in a manner that is consistent with state and federal requirements for the confidentiality of medical information. No visitor tracking mechanisms are utilized. Name and contact information is collected from the requesters in order to respond to drug information requests. This information is not passed on to a third party; however, we may contact individuals at another time to obtain feedback about their experience with the center as part of a continuous quality improvement exercise. Other than drug information requests, no information (emails or otherwise) regarding any visitor information to any of these webpages are kept, stored or recorded in any manner.
Funding is provided by Harding University and contractual clients. There are no known conflicts of interest associated with the center receiving funding from these sources.
