Center for Drug and Health Information
Faculty and Staff
Rodney G. Richmond, RPh, MS, CGP, FASCP
Director, Center for Drug and Health Information
Associate Professor, Pharmacy Practice
Mr. Richmond (curriculum vita) has founded, directed, or served as a specialist in five university-based drug or poison information centers. In addition to his experience in information services, he has served in practice settings that include ambulatory care, group homes, home health, acute care, long-term care, hospice, and the pharmaceutical industry. In each of these arenas, either as a pharmacist provider, researcher, administrator, or consultant, the pharmacoepidemiologic assessment and prevention of drug-related morbidity has been the principal theme of his practice. It is through this lens that Mr. Richmond envisions a patient-focused center for drug and health information that emphasizes providing services that address concerns related to medication adherence and drug safety.
