Honors Business Experience
Honors Business Experience
Honors Business Experience is a two-week academic program on the Searcy campus designed to challenge, encourage, and uplift high school students who are now in their junior year (students graduating in the class of 2020).DISCOVER THE FASCINATING WORLD OF BUSINESS
How does the innovation, risk-taking and passion of industry translate into goods and services that offer value to every day people? Through exposure to the elements that drive business (economics, marketing, management, information systems, finance and entrepreneurship), and a number of companies who practice them, you will examine how businesses take their scarce resources to meet the unmet needs of society.
In Honors Business Experience, you will find yourself immersed in developing an understanding of the mind of the entrepreneur, the creativity of the marketer, the discipline of the financier, the resourcefulness of the information technologist, and the ethics of the Christian professional. At the same time you might just discover your own passion with hands-on practical projects and by learning from successful business leaders in an environment that is fun, exciting and challenging.
