Earned a B.A. (2006) in French and Spanish from Harding University, and her Master of Science in Education (2010) with a specialization in Spanish from .

Most frequently taught classes:

Teaches Elementary Spanish (SPAN101/102), Accelerated Elementary Spanish (SPAN103/104), and classes in French Literature (FR271/301/402).

Coordinates the COPL program and the 200-level French labs.

Advises or will advise students in Spanish (SPAN), French (FREN) or minors in Spanish or French.

Professional organizations:

Is a member of Phi Sigma Iota Foreign Language Honor Society and Alpha Chi.

Overseas, travel or missions experience:

Lived in French-speaking Canada for 14 years. Has completed short-term missions in Mexico and Nicaragua and two family trips to Greece. Taught one semester at HULA in Chile.

Other language-related activities:

Does professional translating in French/English. Has completed translations for adoption agencies. Sponsors the sign language club and teaches sign language at Leadership Training for Christ (LTC).

Church-related or civic activities:

Served with an inner city ministry in 2011.

Hobbies and interests: Enjoys biking, rollerblading, writing, reading, anime, and of course - French and Spanish.
