Events

The Honors Council has planned lots of activities for you. There are plenty of ways to be involved with fun, service, food, and helpful information sessions. Watch for detailed information flyers in your HU Box, HU email and Honors College Social Media. 

Weekly Events:


Chili Day

Every Tuesday from 11 AM - 2 PM $2.00 buys all the chili you can eat and a drink!


Tutoring project

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 PM - 5 PM, for area 7th-12th graders - Contact us if you are interested in being a tutor.


The Devo

Every Thursday at 7:07 PM - Topic may vary.

Every Wednesday at 5 PM - Everyone is welcome!


English Corner

Thursday at 9:00 PM

Help International students practice speaking English.  Located in the Student Center, across from the HU Book Store.

Monthly Events:


Buck for Breakfast (B4B)

One Saturday per month 10 AM thru 12 PM in the Sears Honors House.  Enjoy fellowship with other Honors College students while eating all the pancakes you can for $1.  *Community service projects to follow each B4B

Life Support

Designed to help students get through dead week and finals by providing support for studies. The Honors House will be open as listed to provide a quiet place to study while enjoying coffee and light snacks.
