Harding Remembers...

Our legacy can only be seen through the lives of others. One way the Harding community celebrates the legacies of people special to us is through the donation of a brick, plaque, or room in their honor. The Harding Remembers project seeks to make these commemorative emblems locatable through this searchable database and interactive campus map.

Search Tips:  Enter the last name of the person you are looking for in the "Search for" box below and click the Search button.  Wildcard (*) searching is also available.

What commemorative items are available to search?

We currently have all bricks, Benson seat plaques, and various plaques from across campus searchable in this index.

I know there is a brick (or Benson seat plaque) on campus that has my loved one's name on it but I can't seem to find it in this index. Who can I talk to about this?

Please contact the Archives & Special Collections librarian at 501-279-4205 or archives@harding.edu.  She will look into the situation and try to help find your plaque.

Special thanks...

This project would not have gotten off the ground without the assistance of library student workers Danny Jackson, Austin English, Curtis Wilson, and Rebecca Yoon.  Their many hours of work creating the database and search interface plus taking all the pictures have been invaluable to this project.
