Baseball and Cool Cars

Hobbies

WB01652_.gif (587 bytes)I enjoy baseball, racquetball, bicycling, and working on my old cars.  In college, I played football and baseball and semipro baseball in the summer.  I was scouted as a pitcher and, for a time, it appeared that I would get a chance at professional baseball.  Unfortunately, a shoulder injury sustained in football ended that chance so I went to graduate school instead.  At the ripe old athletic age of 43, I finally had shoulder surgery and started my second stint in amateur baseball.  Each year since then (1988), I have played in the Central Arkansas MSBL (Men's Senior Baseball League) as a member of the Central Arkansas Yankees.  I also play for our MSBL national tournament team, the Arkansas Diamonds. Check it out at www.msblnational.com.
