Shawn Daggett, Th.D.

I thank God for the opportunity to teach Bible and Missions in the College of Bible and Ministry at Harding University, Searcy, Arkansas. My doctorate is in the History of Missions and New Testament studies from Boston University. I also attended Harding Graduate School of Religion to obtain my Masters of Theology, and Harding University for my Bachelors degree.

By God’s gracious providence, my wife, Donna, and I served as missionaries to Bergamo, Italy from 1986 to 1996 after which I began teaching at Harding. From 2000 to 2003, while studying at Boston University, we were also blessed to work together with the church in Natick, Massachusetts and we continue our connection with Christians in the Northeast through our directing Gander Brook Christian Camp each summer in Raymond, Maine. I am thrilled to teach missions history, missionary anthropology, European missions, missions principles and practices, Gospel of John, Acts of the Apostles, and Old and New Testament Survey.

My goal is to inspire and challenge students to participate in God's mission of salvation to the whole world and to recruit, prepare, and equip individuals and teams to effectively communicate the gospel in Europe, Eastern Europe, and New England. I pray that my students will experience a relationship with God that will build their faith and mold their behavior.

Welcome to my academic home page.
