Cindi Ingram is passionate about service. In the Office of Disability Services, she helps students achieve their goals and look towards their futures. Imgram transitioned to this role two years after working in the Student Life Office.
“I loved working in that office, however, I had a desire to be more involved with serving our students,” Ingram said. “When the position opened up in the Office of Disability Services, I knew it was an answer to my prayers!”
Every day, Ingram serves students and provides them access to academic accommodations. She is inspired by their unique journeys and the ways they have overcome obstacles to get to Harding.
Ingram’s goal in her work at Harding is to empower students to advocate for themselves in a way that honors God.
“Our students have such potential to do great things for God's Kingdom,” Ingram said. “It is so fulfilling to encourage them as they move forward in His plan for their lives and experience victory in their efforts!”
The Office of Disability Services partners with the University to give all students the opportunity to learn and grow at their own pace.
“Each student has different strengths and weaknesses, and accommodations are not a one size fits all,” Ingram said. “I enjoy working with them to determine which methods will allow each person to achieve their goals and succeed at Harding.”
Ingram works with faculty and staff to ensure that all students are set up for success.
“I want professors to see us as a resource as they strive to accommodate their students,” Ingram said. “With all of us working together, we can make Harding a great place for all students to grow in their faith and receive a quality education.”
