Welcome from the Director of Public Safety

This is an exciting time for our department at Harding University. We have changed our name from "Harding University Security Department" to "Harding University Public Safety." This change reflects our commitment to safety for the entire Harding community.

Our commitment to a safe community can be seen in several ways. Our department provides officers with some of the best, most comprehensive training of any private organization in the state and region. We work hand-in-hand with local police, fire and emergency medical professionals as a team dedicated to providing a safe campus and community. And we continue to seek new and better ways to serve the finest Christian students in the world.
