Welcome to E-Learning Services

Welcome! E-Learning & Multimedia Services is a division of the Information Services and Technology department. E-Learning & Multimedia Services includes the following departments: Classroom & IT Public Labs, Multimedia Center, Audio/Visual Productions, and E-Learning Support & Development, which includes Blackboard development and support.

Blackboard

What it is:
Blackboard is a Web-based course management system that allows faculty to deliver online course instruction or provide an online enhancement to on-campus courses.  Students enrolled in courses supported with Blackboard have access to support materials posted by the instructor, including syllabi, assignments, links to Web-based materials, discussion boards and chat rooms, and online quizzing.


To access:
Access your Blackboard course(s) by logging into Pipeline, click HU Students or HU Faculty, My HU Courses, Click here to: and click on the link to your course. Blackboard can also be accessed by going to https://elearning.harding. edu and logging in with your Harding username and password.

Send an e-mail to: elearning@harding.edu. Please include your name, Harding username, name of the course and a description of the problem you are experiencing.

Technology Classrooms

Technology classrooms create new opportunities in teaching and learning by integrating networking, digital, and audio visual technologies.

There are 75 technology classrooms on Harding’s campus for faculty use.

Classroom & IT Public Labs support the technology in these rooms and encourage you to contact us at x5201 to schedule an orientation to learn more about these classroom facilities.

All classrooms are scheduled for use by the Office of the Registrar.

Technology classrooms are equipped with the following:

  • DVD
  • Sound system
  • Wireless mouse
  • AUX-video Input
  • USB Input
