Theatre Department
Theatre Arts

Welcome to Harding University Theatre.  We are glad that you are interested in learning more about us. The HU Theatre experience provides a challenging, yet rewarding opportunity for students to develop their theatre knowledge and skills in an environment of believers.  Students are pushed to find their potential in a number of artistic aspects of theater, while supported and encouraged to remember that our dedication to Christ is our number one concern.

Throughout the course of a student's time at Harding, they will have the opportunity to experience a number of diverse theatrical productions.  Students are involved in everything from musical theater to original musical revues; from classic drama to modern comedies.  Faculty directed shows provide the opportunity for students to receive performance and technical experience under the guidance of seasoned educators who seek to challenge the students' skills.  Student directed productions provide the experience of organizing a production as well as communicating and working with peer groups.

If you are a prospective student, don't hesitate to contact us.  We would love to visit with you to help you decide if HU Theatre is a solid fit with your educational goals.  We would also be glad to help set up a campus visit, if you so wish.  Please contact Robin Miller at rmiller@harding.edu

If you are a HU Theatre alumni and would like to find out more information about how the program has changed and recent news, you may want to sign up for "Cross Upstage" our newsletter. Please contact Ben Jones for more information at bjones9@harding.edu
