We believe in the importance of a global education because we are citizens of the world. Our primary mission in the Office of International Programs is to facilitate students and faculty to learn together in an international environment in order to promote a deeper global understanding and cross-cultural interaction. Forty-eight percent of students from recent graduating class have participated in a study-abroad experience. We have semester-long international campuses located in Australia, Chile, England, Greece, France/Switzerland, Italy and Zambia, as well as numerous short-term study abroad opportunities. Each of our international programs are unique, but no matter which program a student choses to attend, it is inevitable that he or she will return home with a new outlook on the world.
The staff works together harmoniously as we attempt to create a grand experience for students and faculty as they undertake their semester-abroad journey. It is our desire to make your experience in the International Programs an enriching one.
We encourage both faculty and adjunct faculty to apply to teach at our International Programs; in some instances, Harding staff may be qualified to participate. You may download the application form and other relevant information.
In general, assignments are made 2-4 years in advance; however, faculty openings sometimes occur just prior to the commencement of the term. For this reason, we encourage you to keep an application on file with the International Programs office. Please be sure to list all programs and terms of study for which you might be available.
