Physician Assistant Program

Welcome to the information site for the Physician Assistant Program. This is a 28-month graduate program leading to a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree.
This is the first PA program in the state of Arkansas. At Harding we are very excited about the potential impact of this program on the local community, the people of Arkansas, and worldwide mission fields.
The Beta class graduated July 26, 2008. It was a very exciting time.
Twelve graduates from our 1st class are currently practicing in Arkansas and an additional 12 graduates from the second class are applying for Arkansas licensure. Our students have made an impact in the number of practicing PA-Cs within the state of Arkansas over the past 2 years.
Congratulations to the class of 2008! They have a 100% pass rate on the PANCE.
Our 3rd class is ready to begin their 3rd clinical rotation. The intense apprehension has lessened somewhat that accompanies each new rotation as they are making that transition from the classroom to the clinical setting.
