Physician Assistant Program
Welcome to the information site for the Physician Assistant Program. This is a 28-month graduate program leading to a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
This is the first PA program in the state of Arkansas. At Harding we are very excited about the potential impact of this program on the local community, the people of Arkansas, and worldwide mission fields.
The Beta class graduated July 26, 2008. It was a very exciting time.
Twenty-four graduates from our first 2 classes are currently practicing in Arkansas. Our students have made an impact in the number of practicing PA-Cs within the state of Arkansas over the past several years.

Our 3rd class is ready to begin their 9th and their final clinical rotation. Some already have jobs and others are still exploring possiblities. Their July graduation is quickly approaching.
On October 24th,2008 the Center for Health Sciences was officially dedicated during this years Homecoming activities.

ACCREDITATION STATUS:
The program has been awarded Continued Accreditation by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The approximate date for the next review by ARC-PA will be in 2009.
