Welcome to our community of scholars!
The Honors College at Harding University is a unique place where scholars come together to form lasting relationships with others of like interests. The Sears Honors House brings students together from all corners of the campus to share meals, tutor local high school students, study before mid-terms and finals, meet to go kayaking, bike riding or participate in community service projects, and to hear presentations by guest lecturers. The Sears House is the hub of activity for many of our Honors students.
Within this website are many resources to help you become a part of the Honors College and connect with other Honors students. Inside you will find a listing of our Honors courses which always prove to be challenging, stimulating, and ultimately, a rewarding part of your undergraduate experience.
We offer many leadership opportunities across campus and in our local community. Join us for lunch each Tuesday on Chili Day or consider attending one of our Sears Seminars, which offer a broad-based exposure to stimulating ideas and an opportunity to discuss those ideas with visiting experts.
Should you have questions about our program, come by the Sears Honors Center here on the Harding campus or e-mail us. We'll be happy to assist you. You can also check out the Honors Council blog at http://www.hcouncil.blogspot.com for more information.
