We think you'll like it here. Why? Because we rely on personable and skilled faculty who are dedicated to providing a solid training in art & design with a Christian perspective. Join talented students from all over the world in an environment that thrives on creativity. With the hours our students often spend working together in the studio, you'll grow close to your classmates and have the opportunity to form friendships, make memories and build a prestigious portfolio. Our students graduate with the knowledge and skills needed to become successful artists or designers in the profession they choose.
Our 34-hour core of art classes provides you with the drawing, design, and art history knowledge needed to tackle the problems you will encounter in your upper-level classes and on the job after you graduate.
We offer a selection of specific majors that focus on painting, three-dimensional work, graphic design, interior design, and art education. In areas where we do not offer a specific degree, you have the flexibility to build a portfolio that targets many other niches in the art market, such as art therapy, illustration, art history, drawing, printmaking and photography.
Whether you intend to pursue graduate school or begin your career right away, your undergraduate studies at Harding’s Department of Art & Design will prepare you for the next step. We hope you'll join our Art and Design family.
