His government delivered Brexit, ending years of political deadlock following the 2016 referendum, and pursued domestic reforms focused on infrastructure, education, technology and reducing regional economic disparities.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Johnson led the UK’s response, overseeing the country’s vaccine development and rollout, including the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, and the reopening of the economy. He was also a prominent international supporter of Ukraine following Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022. During his tenure, the UK hosted COP26 and helped establish the Glasgow Climate Pact.
