Positions

COLLEGE OF ALLIED HEALTH. Seeking qualified applicants for a 10-month principal faculty position for the Harding department of Cardiac Function & Interventional Technology (CFIT); rank will be commensurate with applicant experience. Responsibilities will include working with existing faculty to develop cardiac device continuing education program, teach in the program's core on-ground, and on-line curriculum, advising and mentoring students, assisting with the technology lab, conducting scholarly activity in the faculty's area of expertise, and engaging in service to the college, university, and community.

Qualified applicants will be expected to have three plus years’ experience working with cardiac electrophysiology (EP) mapping systems, possess a minimum of a master's degree, a minimum of three years of clinical experience; prior teaching experience and IBHRE certification is preferred.

COLLEGE OF ARTS and SCIENCES ● DEPARTMENT OF ART, ARCHITECTURE and DESIGN. (Architecture Faculty)

Architecture faculty will assist in the continuing development and implementation of the Accelerated Architecture Curriculum which includes both a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Studies (BA-AS) and a Master of Architecture (M.Arch). Faculty will assist in the NAAB accreditation process in accordance with the established timeline for achieving initial accreditation in 2028. The Architecture Program was granted NAAB Candidacy in 2024.

Seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position in the Department of Behavioral Sciences Psychology Program beginning Fall, 2025. Rank will be commensurate with experience. COLLEGE OF ARTS and SCIENCES ● DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGY (Biology Faculty)

Seeking applicants for a full-time faculty position in Biology. Rank will be commensurate with experience. Candidates with a Ph.D. in the biological sciences are preferred. The ideal candidate has teaching experience in microbiology and immunology, but candidates with experience in other subdisciplines of molecular and cellular biology are welcome to apply. Seeking an adjunct chemistry or physical science instructor to teach introductory chemistry or physical science classes, or chemistry laboratory classes. Some regular availability for assisting students outside class is expected. A master’s or Ph.D. in chemistry is preferred, though sufficient experience teaching AP Chemistry may be acceptable.

Seeking applicants for a full-time nine-month faculty position in Theatre. The successful candidate will hold an MFA degree in Theatre, with an appropriate specialization in either design, technical theatre, acting, or directing. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and professional experience. The primary responsibilities for this position include teaching undergraduate courses in theatre, focusing on the candidate's particular specialization area. The position will also serve as an integral part of the production team for the department. Seeking full-time nursing faculty in adult medical/surgical and critical care sub-specialities for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program in Searcy, Arkansas. The successful candidates should maintain an active, unencumbered nursing license; be eligible for RN licensing in the state of Arkansas; have a  Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a graduate degree in Nursing; and have at least 2 years of nursing practice experience in medical surgical or critical care settings. Responsibilities include teaching and leading undergraduate clinical groups in nursing practice settings, evaluating student preparation and written clinical assignments, assisting with simulation, evaluation of clinical competency and performance and leading pre and post clinical conferences to meet course clinical objectives. Full-time faculty participate in collaborative committee work to complete all accreditation requirements, and contribute to the scholarship goals within the college.
