COLLEGE OF ALLIED HEALTH. The Harding University College of Allied Health is seeking applicants for a full-time 12-month faculty position as Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. Rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.  This position reports to the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to working with sport coaches to design, implement and supervise sport-specific programs for strength, speed and conditioning as well as assisting with daily operations of strength and conditioning facilities.   

Qualified candidates must hold or be willing to work towards a Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology or a related field. The preferred candidates will hold an MFA degree in Theatre, with an appropriate specialization in either design, technical theatre, or acting/directing. The primary responsibilities for each position include teaching undergraduate courses in theatre, focusing on the candidate's particular specialization area. Each position will also serve as an integral part of the production team for the department. Harding seeks spiritually mature educators who integrate faith and learning, modeling academic and artistic excellence.

Theatre Design: Preferred Candidates should hold an MFA in Theatre with an emphasis in a design discipline and possess both professional and teaching experience. Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses within the candidate’s specialization and serving as a key member of the production team. Expertise in Costume or Lighting Design is especially desired, though other design areas will be considered.

Acting/Directing: Preference will be given to applicants holding an MFA in Theatre with an emphasis in acting or directing, along with relevant professional and teaching experience.
