Why should I pursue a master's degree?

LEARN TO LEAD IN OUR DIGITAL SOCIETY

The need for cybersecurity experts continues to rise as our world experiences data breaches, theft and cyber attacks. Through our 30-hour online program, you will be prepared with an ethical, faith-driven foundation to help secure the digital future with expertise.

WHERE A MASTER’S DEGREE MATTERS MOST

Global demand for cybersecurity professionals is estimated at 10.2 million, against a current workforce of 5.5 million — leaving a gap of approximately 4.8 million unfilled positions. In the United States, there were 1,509,838 cybersecurity jobs demanded with only 1,284,639 skilled workers available to fill them as of mid-2024, according to Lightcast's Quarterly Cybersecurity Talent Report.

ENTER A GROWING FIELD

Employment of information security analysts is projected to grow 29% by 2034 — far faster than the 3% average for all occupations and 9% for all computer-related occupations — translating to approximately 16,800 openings per year.

ELEVATE YOUR EXPERTISE

With a master’s degree, you will be qualified for roles in areas such as management, research and advanced threat analysis in both private and government sectors. Taking the next step in your education sets you apart and distinguishes you among other digital leaders.

The flexibility of our program gives you the ability to manage your current responsibilities while enhancing your knowledge in as few as three semesters. Courses are offered in an eight-week online format. By taking one course per block, you can finish in five semesters or roughly 18 months. No GRE or GMAT is required for admission.
