Family Weekend 2019 — Sept. 27-28

We want to personally invite you to attend Harding Family Weekend. This weekend promises something for everyone and has grown into a special event that you do not want to miss! You are invited to attend classes with the students. Chapel begins at 9 a.m. on Friday in the Benson Auditorium. This is a great opportunity to bring prospective students and siblings of current students to campus and see what makes Harding so special. Check out the schedule tab for the other activities during the weekend. We look forward to seeing you and your family on campus.

 

Tickets

Tickets are available at the door of each event or at hardingtickets.com. You may purchase them when you arrive.

When you arrive on campus, stop by the Alumni and Parent Relations office in the David B. Burks American Heritage Building for refreshments.

Friday, September 27

When you arrive on campus, stop by the Alumni and Parent Relations office in the David B. Burks American Heritage Building for more information and refreshments.

8 a.m. - 4 p.m.   Attend Classes; You are invited to attend classes with your student. Come and see what the students are learning!  Has it been a while since you attended a college class?  Don't miss this opportunity! 

9 and 10 a.m. Chapel, Benson Auditorium. Chapel is one of the most important events that your student will participate in during his/her years at Harding. Come experience what makes Harding so special.

7 p.m. Women's soccer vs. Ouachita Baptist University, Steven's Soccer Complex

8 p.m.  Family Entertainment, Comedian John Felts; Administration Auditorium; $5 for adults; $2 for students.  Tickets at Hardingtickets.com or at the door. 

Saturday, September 28

9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Parent Network Breakfast, Cone Chapel, David B. Burks American Heritage Bldg. Reservations required. No charge to attend order your free tickets at www.harding.tickets.com. 

11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Family Photos - available in a Harding Swing on the front lawn. $10 for two 5x7's. Other packages available.

Lunch on your own. You may use your student's meal plan or pay at the door in the cafeteria.

1 p.m. Lady Bison softball exhibition vs. Central Baptist College, softball field

1 p.m. Men's soccer vs. Fort Hays State University, Stevens Soccer Comples

2 - 3:30 p.m. Open House for Families - Men and women's dorms

3 - 5:45 p.m. Tailgate Party, ARAMARK will serve pulled pork, grilled chicken, corn dogs and MORE at Bison Park in front of the Ganus Activities Complex.  Enjoy the music of Belles and Beaux. There is something for all ages. Bring your family — $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-11, and children ages 5 and under eat free. You may use your student's meal plan or pay for your food at the door. Inflatable games are free. 3:45 p.m. Walk of Brothers — Cheer on the Bison football team in front of the Ganus Activity Complex

6 p.m. -Bison Football vs. Henderson State, First Security Stadium.  Be on hand for a Great American Conference matchup. Wear your black and gold and cheer for the Bisons. Tickets required.$15 reserved seats, $10 adults and $5 student general admission, on sale at www.hardingtickets.com.
