In 2010, Dr. Clifton L. Ganus Jr. met Botham Jean during a visit to St. Lucia, a meeting that would inspire Botham to pursue his education at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas. From his very first visit, Botham seamlessly became part of the Harding community, immersing himself in numerous activities. He was a cherished member of the Good News Singers, a regular song leader in chapel, and an active participant in the Sub T-16 social club. His radiant smile and contagious enthusiasm left a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
Following his graduation in 2015, Botham embarked on a career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Dallas, Texas, where he continued to exude the same warmth and positivity that had defined his time at Harding. Tragically, his life was cut short in 2016. To honor his legacy, we invite you to contribute to the Botham Jean Scholarships, supporting students in cultivating the spirit of empathy, integrity, and compassion—values that Botham embodied throughout his life.
