A Legacy of Service
For more than 40 years, William “Doc” Hollaway—retired professor of music theory and piano and long-time TNT sponsor—has profoundly shaped the lives of countless music students and more than 1,500 TNT brothers and queens through his teaching, mentorship, and example of selfless Christian service. Known for his kindness, encouragement, and unwavering faith, Doc’s influence continues to resonate across the Harding community, inspiring students and alumni alike.
To honor his extraordinary contributions, Harding has established the Dr. William W. Hollaway Distinguished Endowed Chair for the Dept. of Music. Once fully funded, this endowment will support a faculty position in Doc’s name, ensuring that his passion for music, mentorship, and Christian service continues to inspire generations of Harding students.
