Experiential Work
The fieldwork program at Harding University’s Occupational Therapy program is intentionally aligned with the curriculum’s design, sequence, and scope. Level I fieldwork experiences are strategically placed during the appropriate phases to coincide with or follow related coursework, ensuring integration with specific practice areas. These experiences strengthen the connection between didactic learning and clinical application, allowing students to apply knowledge, skills, and values from the curriculum threads in real-world settings. Level II fieldwork takes place during the final phase of the program, building on prior learning to support advanced and comprehensive practice. These culminating experiences integrate all curriculum threads and prepare students for entry-level practice.
