Master’s project — Every student completes a mentored research project, building skills in evidence-based medicine and preparing for lifelong inquiry and improvement.

State and national engagement — All students and faculty maintain membership in the American Academy of Physician Associates and the Arkansas Academy of Physician Assistants, reinforcing our commitment to advocacy and professional excellence. Additionally, faculty and alumni serve on the ARAPA Board of Directors and in other professional organizations, modeling the importance of service and leadership.

Student academy participation — Students join and engage in the Student Academy of AAPA for additional leadership, networking and educational opportunities.

Interprofessional Education — Participate in IPE events with students in nursing, pharmacy, physical therapy, occupational, speech-language pathology and other health professions.

High-fidelity simulations - Apply your skills in ACLS, trauma scenarios, emergency simulations and more.

Team-based clinical rotations - Work alongside physicians, PAs, nurse practitioners, medical students and other health care providers in diverse clinical settings.

Service is at the heart of who we are. Harding PAs are trained to lead with humility, cultural sensitivity and compassion.

Cross-cultural opportunities — Participate in elective international or cross-cultural clinical rotations and join our annual spring break global service trip.

Serving the medically underserved — Engage in program-sponsored outreach events and clinical rotations that are focused on vulnerable populations.
