Theatre Alumni Spotlight

Hayden Nooner (2017)

Originally from Hampton, AR, Hayden graduated from Harding with a BA in theatre. Since then, he has gone on to earn his Master of Arts in teaching at the University of Arkansas at Monticello in 2022 and is now the Theatre Director at Barton Junior High School. 

In addition to teaching at BJHS, Hayden is also an adult acting instructor at South Arkansas Arts Center, as well as a director and costume designer for educational and community productions in his area.

Brenna Bishop (2021)

Brenna graduated from Harding with a BA in theatre design/production and a minor in Business Management from Harding. Coming from North Richland Hills, TX, she is currently the Production Stage Manager for “Million Dollar Quartet”, “Young Frankenstein”, and “Baskerville” at New London Barn Playhouse in New Hampshire. 

Her upcoming projects include serving as Stage Manager for “This is Not an Immigrant Story” for Theatre Aspen’s Solo Flights Festival and Stage Manager for “Dracula” at Ozark Actors Theatre.

Lydia Marshall (2022)

Lydia came to Harding in 2018 from Huntsville, AL. She graduated with her BA in theatre education and is now the Theatre Teacher and Director at Lincoln County High School in Tennessee.

Some of her upcoming projects include "Tinker Bell's Shadow" and "Finding Neverland".

Asher Patten (2023)

Asher was a Searcy native when he came to Harding to get his BA in acting. Following graduation, he took part in the Acting Apprenticeship at Aurora Theatre in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He is now a production vocalist for Norwegian Cruise Line’s Creative Studios across multiple ships.

He will be returning to Aurora Theatre for their 2026 Christmas Canteen.
