Clay Smith is an assistant professor in the College of Bible and Ministry at Harding. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy in religious studies with a focus on the Old Testament at Baylor University. Because he has also served several years as a worship leader, he is especially interested in writing and teaching about the ways that worship forms communities of faith in the past and present. He previously taught courses on Christian Scripture at Pepperdine University, Baylor University and Harding School of Theology, and he is excited to continue sharing his love for Scripture at Harding.
