Dr. Jordan House and Stephen Maxwell
Stephen Maxwell serves at the Memorial Road Church of Christ as Worship Minister. He is passionate about worship and sharing the Good News of Christ through singing, speaking and teaching. Stephen has served in local congregations across the country and holds a Master of Arts in Christian ministry from Harding School of Theology. He has also toured Europe, Africa, South America and the continental United States with the internationally known Christian music group, Acappella. He and his wife of 26 years, Alasha, have three sons: Jonah, Judah and Josiah. They share a passion for worship and ministry with young adults and college students and have worked closely with universities in Arlington, Texas; Portland, Oregon; Florence, Alabama; and Memphis, Tennessee.
Jordan House is an assistant professor in the College of Bible and Ministry, where he invests daily in the spiritual formation and life of college students. With more than 25 years of experience leading worship in various churches and diverse ministry settings, he brings both depth and authenticity to corporate worship. He previously served in full-time ministry as both a worship and student minister and was the lead/tenor for the singing group Acappella from 2005-2008. He and his wife, Audrey, live in Searcy and have four children: Haven, August, Bodie and Vale.
