Dr. Jeff Peterson is professor of New Testament at Harding School of Theology. He served more than 27 years as Jack C. and Ruth Wright Professor of New Testament at Austin Graduate School of Theology (previously known as the Institute for Christian Studies) and more recently as pulpit minister of the University Avenue Church of Christ in Austin, Texas. He has also taught New Testament and Greek for Lipscomb University, Abilene Christian University, the University of Texas at Austin, the Seminary of the Southwest, and the Institute of Theology and Christian Ministry in St. Petersburg, Russia.
He grew up in Galena Park, Texas, and earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Abilene Christian University, a Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Philosophy in New Testament studies from Yale University. Peterson co-authored Things That Matter: A Guide to Christian Faith and has published numerous essays on the New Testament and early Christianity. He has three children and one granddaughter.
Dr. Keith Stanglin is the executive director of the Center for Christian Studies in Austin, Texas, and professor of historical theology at Harding School of Theology. He previously taught at Harding University, Austin Graduate School of Theology and Heritage Christian University. His academic interests are in church history, Reformation and post-Reformation theology, the history of biblical interpretation, moral theology, biblical studies and Arminianism.
He is the minister at University Avenue Church of Christ in Austin, Texas. He has previously served on the ministry staff for churches in Oklahoma, Tennessee, Michigan and Texas and has preached in many states and foreign countries. He and his wife, Amanda, have three children and a granddaughter.
Dr. Evertt W. Huffard is professor emeritus of leadership and missions at Harding School of Theology, where he served for 32 years as a professor and administrator. He frequently lectures on spiritual leadership and missions. For more than 35 years he has served as a consultant for church leaders both nationally and internationally and has hosted more than 50 Bible land tour groups. He has a passion for encouraging and equipping church leaders. He and his wife, Ileene, have three children and ten grandchildren.
